Brad Pitt was reportedly left furious after a SWAT team in Hungary seized nearly 100 weapons from the set of his new film World War Z.

The 85 guns were confiscated by authorities from Brad's film set under counter-terrorism laws as they had not been properly deactivated.

The weapons, including AK-47s and sniper rifles, were flown from London to Hungary on Saturday, where filming for the blockbuster horror movie is currently taking place.

Hungary's director of the Anti-Terrorism Unit, said, a private plane brought guns wrapped in a parcel from a company to an individual [in Budapest]. Guns like these are highly illegal to transport even if they were to used as stage guns, which hopefully they weren't.'

A source told US Weekly magazine, that Brad Pitt, who plays Gerry Lane in the movie, a United Nations Post-war Commissioner, is angry at the unexpected delay, wanting to get back to Angelina and his family.

Filming has already taken Brad to Malta, Cornwall and Scotland, and is said to be over schedule and this latest event will delay things further.

The film, which is based on Max Brooks' 2006 novel World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, is directed by Marc Foster and is expected to be released in April 2012.
