Garrett Hedlund Is Revealed As New Face Of YSL Beaut

Back in October Chanel caused a storm when they revealed that Brad Pitt was the brand new face of Chanel No.5 in a ground-breaking take on the beauty muse. Reviews about the new choice were mixed, but we have to admit that when the official announcement about Chanels new cover girl boy for the No.5 scent arrived, we Graziettes were altogether quite delighted at the refreshing - and hunky - choice. How exciting and different having a man be the face of the worlds most famous fragrance!

And while Chanel remain alone in being able to boast about having a male face for a female fragrance, we have subsequently noted several huge Hollywood stars being signed, or at least supposedly signed, to big fashion houses: Shortly after the Chanel announcement Robert Pattinson was rumoured to have agreed a deal with Christian Dior for their line of men's fragrances. The arrangement, still yet to be confirmed, is estimated to be worth a whooping $12 million over a three year period - ooh la la - and R-Pattz will apparently star in not one, but a SERIES of ad campaigns for the French fashion house. Yikes! Cant you just imagine that becoiffed mane and weak-at-the-knees pout starring back ! at you from a Dior Campaign? Us too.

Then today there has been an announcement that Ysl have signed up-and-coming Hollyword hero Garrett Hedlund (who incidently starred opposite Brad Pitt in Troy) as the new ambassador of their mens fragrance La Nuit De LHomme. Unsurprisingly the lovely types at YSL seem pretty happy about the whole thing - Yves Saint Laurent expresses a unique style between elegance and freedom, sophistication and daring. The brand embodies the spirit of a very strong and virile man, who also assumes his great sensitivity. Garrett Hedlund expresses this duality to perfection, raves Stephan Bezy, International General Manager of Yves Saint Laurent Beaut.
