Watch: A Cold-Blooded Brad Pitt Does Very Bad Things in New 'Killing Them Softly' Trailer (VIDEO)
"Killing Them Softly."
Brad Pitt reunites with his director on "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," Andrew Dominik, for the upcoming crime thriller "Killing Them Softly." If the new trailer is any indication, the film promises to be a heavily stylized riff on a well-worn genre built around another stoic standout turn from the ever-reliable Pitt.
Set to open in select theaters Nov. 30 via the Weinstein Company, "Killing Them Softly"centers on a mob enforcer (Pitt) sent to Boston to take out a couple of small-time hoods who robbed a poker game. The film's based on George V. Higgins' 1974 crime novel "Cogan's Trade."

"Dominik has constructed a provocative revisionist history that beats the original Obama election message of hope and progress to a bloody mass."
