Brad Pitt's florist: He'll marry Angelina Jolie in glow of May sunset with wild flowers everywhere
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are reportedly set to wed in an extravagant ceremony at their French home a week after the Cannes Film Festival in May.
The couple will marry in a chapel at sprawling estate Chteau Miraval, with topiary elephants on display at the request of their six children to represent each member of the family.
'They want the wedding to take place just before sunset,' says their florist Lucille Michel, 'so that as they say their vows the church will fill with fabulous red, orange and yellow light.
'The lawns have all got new sprinkler systems in, so they'll be green and lush for the big day. Brad wants the guests to say: "Wow" the moment they sweep through the gates.'
Brad, 49 - who announced his engagement to Angelina, 37, last April - said earlier this year that his kids were pressuring him to get hitched soon.
The actor is now making sure that his big day comes together perfectly and has given specific instructions to the chateau's team of eight gardeners.
'I was speaking to someone who works at the estate the other day and Brad wants what they plant to help the local wildlife for generations to come,' Lucille tells Grazia.
'He's spending in the region of 30,000 on flowers and says they've decided no cut flowers, just planted wild ones so that in the future their great-grandchildren can see where they made a promise to each other.'
