'World War Z' Super Bowl Spot Hits Online: 'We've Lost the East Coast' (Video)

Brad Pitt's big budget zombie film, World War Z, has gotten a Super Bowl spot to match.

"We've lost the East Coast," a voice says in the 30-second ad, set to air Sunday. "China's dark," says another. Among the spot's sights: fast zombies, international locales and the Declaration of Independence being carted off by the U.S. military.

In other words, things don't seem to be going well for humanity. The film centers on United Nations worker Gerry Lane (Pitt) attempting to keep his wife (Mireille Enos) and two daughters safe in the midst of a zombie apocalypse.

World War Z, originally set for release in December 2012, is adapted from the 2006 novel of the same name by Max Brooks. Marc Forster directed from a script by Matthew Michael Carnahan. It's slated for a June 13 release.
