Did Brad Pitt Buy This Kate Middleton and Prince William Portrait For Angelina Jolie?
Here's more proof, as if we needed it, that Angelina Jolie is BE-sotted with the Duchess of Cambridge: Brad Pitt has bought a work of art featuring none other than Prince William and Kate Middleton. Is this an early wedding present for his superstar fiancee, we wonder?
The stencil on canvas was created by North London-based artist Bambi who, according to Artlyst, sold it to the Hollywood actor known for his graffiti taste (don't forget Bradders purchased a Banksy for over 100,000). In fact, the Hollywood heavy-hitters clearly have a thing for our Royal Family because Mr Pitt also picked up an image of the Queen as well as another thought to be of the late Amy Winehouse. All three pieces, costing an eye-watering total of 60,000, are due to be shipped to the actor's home in Los Angeles.
The Jolie-Pitts, of course, are currently residing in our fair city of London while Angelina films fantasy flick 'Maleficient'. They appear to be getting into the good ol' English spirit with Jubilee parties and their very own Olympics shindig plus rumours are flying that they may get hitched in Windsor Castle. Could this mean another McQueen wedding dress is on the cards...?
Eith er way, we can totes see the supercool painting of Wills and Kate hanging over the Brangelina mantelpiece. It first appeared on a wall in Barnsbury during the Royal Wedding celebrations and quickly became a tourist attraction, with Bambi being touted as the new Banksy. Emblazoned across the couple's chests are the words 'A Bit Like Marmite'. One thing's for sure, Ange is gonna LOVE it.
