Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Celebrate Oscars By 'Getting Brad's Parents Hammered'

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were planning to keep things low-key after last night's Oscars, enjoying a cosy dinner with the actor's parents.

Angelina revealed that they wouldn't be joining their starry friends at the lavish after-parties following the ceremony. Despite getting all dressed up in a stunning Atelier Versace gown, the actress said the couple were going "old school" with a quiet dinner. Speaking to Extra on the red carpet, she said:

"I don't know (what we're going to do after the ceremony), we're with Brad's mom and dad, and we're just going to go out to dinner. We're kind of old school, just going to hang out and have a glass of wine and see how it goes."

He may have lost out on the Best Actor gong but Brad was still planning to get a little bit more wild than his missus, saying:

"I'm going to take my folks out and get them hammered"

The couple also revealed that they do their best to protect their children from the media glare when it comes to big events like the Oscars. Apparently the parents go as far as getting ready somewhere else "so they don't really know" anything about their mum and dad's glam date night.

Ange said "They just think we're at work and hope they don't turn on the television." When the pair get home, Brad isn't strict when it comes to disciplining his misbehaving kids:

"The gi! rls can do no wrong, I'm the disciplinarian with the boys. And then (Angelina) handles the girls. They do no wrong, Whatever you need honey, you're absolutely right."

We wish our parents were as cool as Brad and Ange...
