The Pitt family was tossed into the political ring when Brad Pitts mother, Jane, penned a letter in support of Mitt Romney and against gay marriage. The A-list actors brother, Doug, gave his opinions earlier this year and now theWorld War Zstar has added his two cents.

During a press conference for his latest film, Killing Them Softly,Pitt said:

I am an Obama supporter and Im backing his election campaignGay marriage is inevitable. The next generation, they get it. It is just a matter of time before it becomes a reality.

Of course, Brad Pitts views on gay marriage arent really surprising. Pitt has been vocally supportive of gay marriage throughout his career. Earlier this year he starred in a play with George Clooney, Kevin ! Bacon, M att Bomer, and Jamie Lee Curtis asChief Judge Vaughn R. Walker, the federal judge who ruled that Californias Prop 8 rule was unconstitutional.

In her letter, Jane Pitt wrote that Christians should support Mitt Romney because he is against abortion and shares the Christian conviction concerning homosexuality.

Doug addressed the letter earlier this year saying that family members often have different political views.

Doug Pitt said:

Moms and dads and kids agree to disagree all over the world, so why would our family be any different? There can be healthy discussion when people disagree with you, and I think there should be. The bad thing is when it turns into venom and negativity, and we dont have that in our family. Its open discussion; we can learn from each othermaybe you learn something.
