PanARMENIAN.Net - Brad Pitt has just snatched another high-profile movie project. After recently filming Ridley Scott's "The Counselor" in England, the fiance of Angelina Jolie is now set to produce a big screen take on Edwin Black's New York Times bestseller "IBM and the Holocaust," AceShowbiz said.
Courtesy of Vulture, Pitt, through his Plan B banner, is still shopping the project around to find any studios or TV cable to distribute it. Multiple insiders also say that the A-lister has attached himself to star in the Holocaust film in order to attract directors, but Plan B insists that the actor has not been formally tapped.
Published in 2001, "IBM and the Holocaust" is a critically acclaimed book which unveils how the multinational technology and consulting corporation facilitated the Third Reich's extermination of European Jewry.
The story follows the efforts of IBM's then-chief executive Thomas Watson, who formed an alliance with the Nazis and supported the Holocaust by implementing a series of punch cards based on national census data.
Aside from preparing this political movie, Pitt has been tapped to star in Steve McQueen's star-studded drama "12 Years a Slave". His other upcoming films include "Killing Them Softly" and "World War Z" which both have been pushed back to November 30 this year and June 21, 2013 respectively.
