Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie celebrate their engagement
The couple and their six children Maddox, 10, Pax, nine, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, five and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, arrived by private plane in Baltra, Ecuador yesterday (18.04.12), before boarding a luxury yacht to the exclusive Royal Palm Hotel.
A source in the local mayor's office told People Magazine: "We were informed that they arrived at the airport in Baltra yesterday. Then they made their way over to a villa in the Galpagos Islands."
Brad, 48, is believed to have finally popped the question over Christmas after taking a year to design the perfect engagement ring for his wife-to-be.
A source said: "Angelina cried and smiled."
The children were also overjoyed with their father's proposal, after seven years together, with the source adding: "Everyone hugged once she put the ring on. She went around and showed it to each of the kids. Angie considers herself bonded to Brad for life."
