Angelina, 36, has been a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations since 2001. This is her first trip since she was made special envoy this month.

She visited the region to discuss the ongoing help that Ecuador offers to the displaced Colombians.

She met the UNs High Commissioner for Refugees, Antonio Guerres, as well as Ecuadors Foreign Minister, Ricardo Patino.

Angie visited the village of Barranca Bermeja which marks the border between Ecuador and Colombia, and chatted to bean farmers about their crops.

Brad, 48, proposed to the screen beauty earlier this month, after a seven-year romance.

The romantic actor spent a year designing the perfect ring and then gathered the children Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox before presenting it to her.
