Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's wine reportedly sells out

Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finding success in the wine business.

Six thousand bottles of wine from the couple's vineyard in France called "Miraval Rose 2012" reportedly sold out in a day, ABC News reports.

The wine was only available for purchase in France on the Chateau Miraval website and went for 105 Euros ($139) for a case. The Associated Press reports that each case came with six bottles. The price included taxes and shipping. The couple developed the wine in a joint venture with vintner Marc Perrin

A spokesperson for the public relations firm that represents the vineyard told ABC News, "The sale started at 9 a.m., and all the bottles were sold out by 2 p.m."

The AP reports that the wine goes on sale to restaurants and wholesalers later this month.

The wine is not the only business venture the couple has. Last year, Pitt debuted a furniture collection with furniture maker Frank Pollaro. Pitt designed about a dozen pieces, including tables, chairs, a bed and a bathtub.

Jolie and Pitt are in good company when it comes to Hollywood celebs who have tried their luck in the wine business. Drew Barrymore launched Barrymore Wines in 2011 with a Pinot Grigio that won a gold medal at the Le Challenge International du Vin in France.

Jolie and Pitt, who have six children together, got engaged in April 2012. Pitt mentioned in a November 2012 interview that the family liked living in Europe because their kids "get more sense of normalcy there. We're not as hounded at certain places there."

"France, especially," Pitt continued. "They have rules about shooting kids - photographing kids. I think they're more sensitive to it after the Diana incident. They [the French] think they're as cool as anyone else."

Pitt is next set to appear in the film "World War Z," which hits theaters on June 21. Check out the trailer for the film below.
