Even living in the UK for the best part of the last year hasnt put Brangelina off the British summertime.

The couple are risking whatever our weather can throw at them by swapping their usual sun-soaked vacations for a holiday in the Lake District, where theyll be taking time off from filming to be with their children.

Brad Pitt, 48, and fiancee Angelina Jolie, 37, are planning a break on Windermere with their brood, Maddox, 11, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

So to help them on their way, Ive provided a handy five-day weather forecast (mainly clouds and rain) and a practical guide to whats on.

Theres crazy golf, hot air balloon rides and, excitingly, the Winster Wobble Electric Cycle Circuit.

The couple will be able to nip to Keswick for a quick trip around the Pencil Museum, sup on a pint of Coniston Bluebird Bitter and head to Derwent Park for a fantastic night of men in tight shorts at a local Rugby League match.

They can also put their first-class travel habits on hold by rattling along on Laal Ratty, the Ravenglass to Eskdale steam railway.

There are plenty of fells to trek up and, of course, Ive no doubt Angelina will be keen to climb the Old Man of Coniston.

A source tells me: Angelina has to remain close to the UK because of her filming schedule for Maleficent.

Originally, the film was supposed to be shooting close to the Lakes, but relocated to a more convenient spot close to Pinewood studios.

Theyd already booked a few days off though, and they didnt want the kids to miss out on their trip up to the Lakes, so they decided to go anyway.

Brad has rented out an entire boathouse, and the couple have been looking up some local restaurants to dine at whilst there.

I can tell you theres nothing better than a Cumberland ring (the local sausage, silly) or a square of Kendal Mint Cake to keep you going.

My source tells me: Theyre also planning a day of quad biking for the kids and Brad.

The family spent the bank holiday weekend at the seaside town of Le Touquet in northern France just a quick helicopter ride away, of course.

While there, they spent 200 at a local toy shop... so their forthcoming hol should prove a little nice boost for the Cumbrian economy.

Meanwhile, following one wet weekend, Brad will be off to Glasgow to continue re-shooting the re-shoots for his horror film World War Z.
